How does online tutoring work?
It's simple:
- Identify the subjects that need support.
- Book a free consultation by messaging us on WhatsApp.
- Choose between one-to-one or group sessions.
- Pick a price plan during the consultation.
- Confirm your preferred days and start learning!
What subjects and levels do you tutor?
We tutor KS1, KS2, KS3, 11+/13+, GCSE, A-Level, BTEC and adult learning. Maths, English and Science are covered at every level, with more subjects at specific levels. See the full list of subjects.
What qualifications do your tutors have?
Every tutor specialises in the subject they teach and holds at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. All our staff have enhanced DBS checks. If you'd like to know more about a specific tutor, just ask.
What technology do I need?
A laptop with a working camera and microphone, and an internet connection. We use Zoom, which is free. You just need to create an account.
Can I choose times that work for me?
Yes, of course. Our sessions are very flexible. Book a consultation and we'll find times that fit your routine.
How do I pay for sessions?
Payment is taken before sessions through Stripe, a secure online payment provider. Our admin team will send you a secure Stripe payment link, so you can pay safely by card in a couple of clicks.
Are there any discounts?
Yes. We offer discounted packages when you pay upfront: 10% off for one session a week over half the academic year (24 sessions paid upfront), and 20% off for one session a week over the whole academic year (48 sessions paid upfront). We can also build a custom package for more than one child or several sessions a week. See our pricing.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We can cancel or reschedule any session with at least 24 hours' notice. Later changes may be charged. Message us on WhatsApp at 07443 872135 or email admin@bishopsonlinetutoring.com.
What if I'm not happy with a session?
Your feedback really matters to us. Email admin@bishopsonlinetutoring.com and our admin team will look into it for you.
Are the worksheets really free?
Yes. All 120 GCSE Maths worksheets, including the worked solutions and mark schemes, are free to download and print. Browse the library.
