Two friends, one shared frustration and a mission to make world-class British education accessible to every student, wherever they live.
Our story
Why we started BOT
Bishops Online Tutoring was founded in 2023 by two friends to fill a clear gap in high-quality online tutoring. Having experienced the challenges of the school system first-hand, they saw how hard it can be for parents to find tuition they can trust.
Driven by a passion for education, they created BOT to deliver accessible, world-class British education to students everywhere. Alongside live lessons, we guide international learners through registering for and scheduling external exams in their country, giving parents peace of mind and students the support to succeed.

Why choose BOT?
- Expert tutors only. Every BOT tutor holds a UK degree and specialises in the subjects they teach.
- Honest, efficient tuition. We never stretch out lessons to boost fees. We deliver and reinforce content quickly, so you learn more in less time.
- Word-of-mouth driven. Our reputation is built on results, not false promises, and we pride ourselves on families referring their friends.

How we work
- Free consultation: a one-to-one chat about current grades, goals and learning style.
- Tailored sessions: if we're a good fit, we schedule lessons on Zoom. Every session is recorded by default, with an option to opt out.
- Ongoing review: we adjust pacing and content based on performance and feedback.
03
How we track progress
- Regular testing: practice tests each month that mirror the format and difficulty of real exams.
- Detailed reports: parents and carers get a clear summary of scores and areas to improve at the end of each month.
